DAIRY-FREE MOCHA LATTE (ICED OR WARM)
This without dairy mocha latte recipe is so astounding you will feel like you are drinking a top of the line latte from a luxurious coffeehouse… but in the solace of your own home and at a small measure of the cost! It’s easy to make, healthy (paleo, veggie lover, with NO refined sugar) and out-of-this-world delicious!
Do you see the foam on that frosted mocha latte?! In other words, really, wouldn’t you have the option to manage how consummately fluffy it is?! Furthermore, it’s virus.
In all honesty, I’m usually a straight-up, black espresso consumer (perhaps with a bit of this healthy espresso creamer included). But now and again I get a hankering for a mocha latte! So I made it my mission to create a without dairy latte that is healthy, low in sugar, easy to make and insanely delicious… and this Mocha Latte is absolutely a champ folks.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A MOCHA LATTE AT HOME?
My friends at Vitamix sent me their new Aer Disk Container and this mocha latte was the absolute first recipe I created in it! The Aer Disk Container takes the Vitamix blender and turns it into an instrument that can obfuscate, whip and foam! I’m super about it, because I was prepared to make this frosted mocha latte in 2 minutes level! Plus, it is immaculate with all classic and smart blenders, so anyone can use it!
So here are a few notes about making this mocha latte!
Blend the coconut milk. I recommend tossing the entire container of coconut milk (solid and liquid portions) for 15-20 seconds in the standard Vitamix container first. This ensures there won’t be any lumps when it’s filled the Aer Disk Container to make the mocha latte!
Blend the espresso. Use your favorite espresso beans and blend them using your favorite system. I make mine in the french press. Try not to hesitate to use your favorite espresso or espresso!
TO MAKE A WARM MOCHA LATTE: DO NOT CHILL INGREDIENTS!
- If you are more interested in a warm sans dairy latte, there is no compelling reason to chill the ingredients medium-term!
- Blend longer. To heat up the sans dairy latte, you should blend for around 2 minutes.
TO SERVE A MOCHA LATTE
- For a frosted latte, pour the finished product from the Vitamix Aer Disk Container into cups or mugs filled with ice cubes.
- For a warm mocha latte, pour the finished latte from the Vitamix Aer Disk Container into your favorite mugs!

HOW DO YOU FROTH MILK AT HOME?
The greatness of the Vitamix Aer Disk Container is that it does the milk-frothing for you! The affirmation is in the pudding, see that foam (as I referenced previously). I endeavor to be choosy with the appliances I have in my kitchen, which is the reason I LOVE that the Aer Disk Container turns my Vitamix into a latte-making machine! 😉
If you have a milk frother, you may use that instead of the Vitamix. I recommend whisking or blending the ingredients (espresso, nectar, vanilla and cocoa powder) together first, frothing the milk, by then discharging the frothed milk into the blended ingredients!
WHAT IS THE RATIO OF ESPRESSO TO MILK IN A LATTE?
In this recipe I used a 1:1 extent of espresso to coconut milk. Try not to hesitate to adjust the extent just as you would like if you so desire!
IS ALMOND MILK GOOD FOR LATTES?
Meh. I would say it’s not the best. I think fat is a key part in a truly astounding mocha latte. So I’d stick with coconut milk for this mocha latte recipe!Print
